Changing EDI Trading Partners

1. When you first enter the EDI Trading Partners option a Select An Option window will display with the following options:

• EXIT – Select EXIT to exit the EDI Trading Partners option and return to the Ledger menu.
• YOUR COMPANY – Select YOUR COMPANY to enter or edit the information needed to identify your company with your EDI Trading Partners.
• ADD PARTNER – Select ADD PARTNER to manually add your trading partner information.
• PRINT LIST – Select PRINT LIST to print a current list of EDI Trading Partners.
• A list of currently defined EDI Trading Partners.

To change information in your profile, scroll to YOUR COMPANY and see the Using EDI Trading Partners – Setting up YOUR COMPANY or select a trading partner profile to change from the list of trading partners.

2. Use the Chg command option to change the trading partner name, address, contact, and status.

3. Select the EDI(X) or XML command options to change the EDI communications fields transactions formats, customer, or vendor.

4. Command options will appear:

• Change – Select Change to make changes to the EDI communications fields transactions formats, customer, or vendor.
• Prior Page – Select Prior Page to return to the previous page and prior command options.

Select Change.

5. A Select An Option window will appear with the following options:

• EXIT – Select EXIT to exit and return to the command options.
• XML INFO/EDI INFO – Select XML INFO or EDI INFO to make changes to the EDI/XML trading partner communication setup fields.
• XML TX INFO/EDI TX INFO – Select XML TX INFO/EDI TX INFO to make changes to the EDI transactions formats and versions.

Note: Changes to a customer's DUNS number must be made through the Customer or Customer Quick Maintenance options.

• CUSTOMERS – Select CUSTOMERS to add or delete customers for the EDI trading partners.
• VENDOR – Select VENDOR to make changes to the EDI trading partner vendor information.

6. After selecting one of the above options and making the appropriate changes, use the Tab, Page Down, Enter, or arrow keys to move through remaining fields. Command options will appear; select Prior Page.

7. Command options will appear; select Update to save your changes.
